And since the theme of these restorations is the Boxer Rebellion, I thought it might help f I had a war game project in mind while working on these. I’m thinking Bob Cordery’s The Portable Wargame; that would make for a nice, simple game with a small footprint.
Now to define a game/armies that can be put together with these figures (see post on Historifigs for figure list). Feel free to comment or write with your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.
I could find a use for some of these. Are any of the listed figures actually available now or is this just a sign of progress?

Ah. Just downloaded the pdf. The Boxers will fit in with my pirates but I still have a use for hill tribes in turbans… and money is still limited. I’ll send you an email order for a dozen of each to start me off.
btw, Some of the Boxer Range German Jaegers will be in my WW1 game at Huzzah so I’ll mention that the range is starting to come back into production.

You may want to check out Bob’s “When Empires Clash” it has army lists and is played on a grided table.

I’ve played the Portable Wargame and enjoy that as well.
